DRB Port Authority requir= es all Import containers to be Customs cleared & Released on Navis before any vess= el berths DRB Port Terminal.

Transnet require all cont= ainer NOT assigned on Navis at the time of vessels commences discharge oper= ation, to be moved into Overstay at the merchants risk & cost, including Terminal Storage.

Revised TERMINAL STORAGE calculation.

Pier 2, w Example 1, the container lands on day 1 at 00h01= , free time on storage commences on day 2 from 00h01. Example 2, the contai= ner lands on day 1 at 23h59, free time on storage commences on day 2 from 00h01.

Pier 1, with effect from 01 November 2022, the rule will change to “First 3.25 days (78 hours), the free per= iod will apply from the time the container is available for collection once= the block has been released. Example, the container lands on day 1, but is= only available for collection once the block has been released, day 1 of the free storage will commence on the da= y the block is released.

NB. Goods, articles and items of any sort, stopp= ed or detained by a Governmental Authority, are stored at the owners risk and expense and any charges accumulated due to the uncl= aimed container,

will be paid by the  consignee, notify part= y or his nominated agent on a weekly basis,  until such time the container is dispatched or delivered empty to a nominated empty c= ontainer depot.

Failing which, the Carrier reserves the right to= institute legal proceedings on the parties indicated above to recover all outstanding charges.
