We have received a notification of strikes today, affecting the German seaports and terminals in Hamburg, Bremen, Bremerhaven and Wilhelmshaven. The reason for the upcoming strikes is the pre-empting of the collective bargaining process of the service sector union ver.di, which has called for the strike

The strikes will lead to significant obstructions in truck and rail handling at the ports. The complete consequences cannot be foreseen, but we assume that container traffic will be disrupted over the next few weeks, therefore please take the possible delays into account when planning your shipments.
