We have been unsuccessful before in getting the importer to represent himself to SARS. However there is now a breakthrough and finally the director of Tomapoint will make representations to SARS. These representations will ensure that: Tomapoint is the importer No other party (including JCL ) knowingly used the particulars and credentials of Tomapoint to import goods Also Tomapoint are the only entity that can produce Purchase orders & proof of payments. Tomapoint will eventually pay the final amount raised by SARS . So based on the above, this supplementary notice of intent should be withdrawn? He is available to consult with us next Wednesday at 09h 00 at his chambers in Pretoria. Whilst it is difficult for him to give me an exact amount in respect of his fees, it is anticipated that he would require to spend at a minimum one and a half day on the matter. His daily fee is approximately R 45 000.00 per day. If you give me the go ahead, I will confirm the consultation with him. I will also need to sit with Nishen for an hour or so, for him to prepare documents we will require.
